About this project
Earning a high school diploma makes a real difference in the job market.
An employer will be more likely to hire someone who completed high school regardless of the job because they can safely assume that the candidate understands the basic skills necessary.
A candidate who hasn’t completed high school will have a more challenging time getting a job. Traditionally, statistics have shown that there are negative reasons behind the person dropping out of school, whether they are unable to stay focused, have poor socializing skills, or can’t show respect toward authority figures.
History shows that education is a significant determinant of several behavioral outcomes, like getting married, having children in a two-parent household, or even how long you live.
Education is a powerful tool for promoting personal opportunity and growth.
OUR GOALS
This program has been running since the 1990s and has helped students from the traditional system. Students who have been bullied, suicidal, homeless, lack family support, or even students without a living family. The students were given an opportunity to learn and better themselves without worrying about financial stress.
We aim to help further student’s academic and career goals by removing the financial barrier, which gives them more time to study, gain knowledge and secure better grades.
Over 2300 students who saw the need for the hand up, from all walks of life have rightfully fought to earn a high school diploma with the financial support of this program. We are proud to help our community grow and see each member have an equal opportunity for success.
